Welcome! I’m an experienced and passionate swimming instructor with over 11 years of personal swimming experience and a degree in Physical Education, specializing in swimming techniques. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with swimmers of all ages, from young children as young as 4 years old to adults up to 77 years old, helping them build valuable swimming skills while fostering confidence in the water. My approach to teaching focuses on creating a positive, fun, and engaging environment. I believe that learning to swim should be enjoyable, so I incorporate games and sports equipment into each lesson, ensuring that students of all ages stay motivated and excited to learn. At the same time, I prioritize technique, water safety, and discipline, ensuring that each swimmer is equipped with the right skills to succeed in the water. Having worked extensively with children, I understand how to cater to each student’s unique learning style and needs. Whether a child is just beginning to learn how to float or an adult is looking to refine their strokes, I am dedicated to adjusting my teaching methods to ensure that everyone is comfortable and able to progress at their own pace. One of my proudest moments as an instructor was helping a 4-year-old overcome her fear of water and teaching her to swim in just three lessons. This experience reinforced my belief that with patience, support, and the right approach, every student can achieve their swimming goals. Safety and discipline are at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I believe in promoting not just swimming techniques but also qualities such as responsibility, respect, and courage. Each lesson is designed to help students build life skills that extend beyond the water, ensuring they develop the confidence and independence needed to handle challenges both in and out of the pool. With a positive attitude, a commitment to making learning enjoyable, and a focus on student success, I strive to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable and confident. I am excited to continue growing as an instructor and am eager to join a team that shares my passion for teaching swimming and helping individuals of all ages become strong, skilled swimmers.
